From Shelter to Spotlight: 

Lucca's Journey Makes Front Page News!

What an incredible week it's been for me and my amazing canine companion, Lucca! We are absolutely thrilled to share that our story, a tale of instant love, destiny, and the incredible bond between a human and her dog, has graced the front page of the Mt. Sterling Advocate

It's truly surreal to see Lucca's sweet face looking out from the newspaper, a testament to how perfect she is. For those of you who might not know Lucca's full story, it's one that started with uncertainty but blossomed into something truly extraordinary the moment she walked into our lives.

I still remember the day I first met her at the shelter. There was an instant connection, and I knew right then that she was meant to be a part of my life.

Bringing her home was truly a moment of destiny. Unlike many adoption stories that involve an adjustment period, Lucca fit right in from day one. It was as if this had always been her assigned home. There were no hurdles, no real challenges—just a seamless transition into her forever home. Her amazing disposition and capacity for love inspired me in ways I never imagined.

It was this profound, effortless journey that moved me to put pen to paper—well, finger to keyboard—and write a book about Lucca's incredible story and the beautiful, simple lessons she’s taught me. And now, to have that story recognized and celebrated by our local community newspaper is just beyond words.
