Every project I take on has a different heartbeat, but they’re all connected by the same idea — that life’s best lessons often come from the things we nearly miss. Each story has its own tone, but they all share the same honesty. I don’t chase trends or algorithms. I write what feels real, and I illustrate what I can’t quite explain any other way.
The Home Distiller’s Almanac — a straightforward, hands-on guide built from years of experience.
Lucas Forever Home — a children’s story inspired by my dog and the idea that belonging doesn’t always come easy.
Lucas’s Big Buried Bone Adventure — a follow-up that lets young readers see friendship and curiosity in a new light.
Blood & Asphalt — Book 1 in a series about grit, brotherhood, and the cost of freedom and forbidden love.
Pip and the Fireflies of Monster Valley— a children's story that teaches young readers being small or quiet isn't weakness, sometimes its a superpower.
Each project is different, but they all circle the same truth: there’s always more to a story than what you see at first glance.
Future projects include:
More children’s stories featuring Lucca and her world
Expansion of Blood & Asphalt into a larger series
A possible paranormal collection built around short stories and urban legends.

Author - Illustrator & Observer of the small things that most people step over.
Stories have always been my way of holding onto moments — the quiet ones, the hard ones, the ones that disappear if you don’t write them down. I’ve learned that a good story doesn’t need to shout. Sometimes, it just needs to be true.
I write and illustrate across genres: fiction, nonfiction, children’s stories, comedy, and hands-on guides. Each one begins the same way — with something real. Maybe it’s the memory of a loyal dog, a late-night conversation, or a lesson learned the slow, hard way. I build from that spark until it becomes something others can see, feel, and take with them.
I’m an author, illustrator, and hands-on creator. I ride motorcycles, love dogs, and spend a lot of time figuring things out the long way — which, as it turns out, makes for better writing. When I’m not behind a keyboard or sketch pad, I’m usually working at my fulltime job, outdoors, building something, or somewhere quiet enough to think.
I handle every part of my books — the writing, the artwork, and the design. That’s not about control; it’s about keeping the story’s voice intact from start to finish.
I like things that have texture — paper that feels right, ink that carries weight, stories that you can tell weren’t built by committee. When a reader holds one of my books, I want them to feel the time and intention behind it.
Creativity, for me, isn’t a rush. It’s a slow build — long sleepless nights, revisions, sketches, trial and error. But I wouldn’t trade it. Every detail, from the words to the illustrations, is part of the same rhythm.
Most of my ideas come when I’m not trying — on long rides, quiet walks, or evenings spent sketching without a plan. I’m drawn to things that feel alive: nature, noise, movement, stories that don’t end cleanly.
I’ve always been strict demanding perfection in my everyday job, but. I’d rather something be more honest than polished to death. That’s the same way I write, and the same way I live. Writing, and drawing out scenes or characters or editing this website is an escape from the world I'm from that demands perfection. The work I produce outside of writing has to be 100% and the writing i do and the images i create must be accurate to the feel, but in my stories and pictures Its not work for me. Its more of a stroll down memory lane, or a side street to a place that needs explored. The words must be true, the images must reflect the vision, but there's no rule book dictating what it MUST be in the end, and that is my escape.
I keep a running blog on this site for updates — behind-the-scenes notes, early looks at what’s coming, and the occasional thought that won’t leave me alone until it’s written down.
